Driving forces behind EMS are two business engineers, Richard Wijkstra (36) and Nico van de Laar (63).

Wijkstra individually experienced the challenges and organizational shortcomings in many change processes, being the manager. This, combined with the market view from co-founder of EMS, Nico van de Laar, led to the development of EMS. Van de Laar has a large background in marketing, business development, sales management and organization development. "The timing for EMS is just right", says van de Laar.
