| The word change has a negative ring for many people. According to
psycho analysts is it difficult for us to cope with change, some do
better the others. Those same psycho analysts state that we do not know
what the change is going to give us and we therefore cling to the
current situation. Fear and doubt are the most associated feelings.
Employees are not welcoming change either. But each day they are confronted with change. "We never get involved", "We will accept because we have no choice", "It will not work because…": are view of the quotations heard. The answers are also encapsulated in the questions. These employees normally know everything about their role in the organization. This, due to experience and structure, processes, meetings and instructions. Well functioning change management is, according to EMS, dependent on: A well developed system or structure to capture and reveal the necessary change management experience in order to make change acceptable on all levels. This does not mean the creation of an over managed system but a focus on a lean change organization which contains clear processes, resources, communication channels and techniques. This does allow you to not only initiate and implement changes top-down, but also bottom up by channeling initiatives. One of the advantages of this approach is the disappearance of the tension between line organization and change organization. |
